Christmas in the Mountains
Relive memories of a childhood Christmas in the rural Blueridge mountains from the early 1980s in this short dialog-based game. Play as a young child delivering gifts to neighbors in a mountain community - you get to decide who to give gifts to and learn a little about their stories and times.
About the Game:
Based on childhood memories, I developed this game from scratch during a 5-day period for the Jame Gam Christmas Edition game jam. All artwork and animations are original and hand-drawn, using a drawing tablet and Krita. I performed the narration, soundFX are from OpenSound, and background music is credited below.

Very nice little game, the parallax effect, the day-night imperceptible transition, the fact all the neighbors are silhouettes, the soothing shades of blue, the trees with no leaves and the music all contribute to build a really good atmosphere. Congrats!
